Home Group Ministries

 

Who we are:  People coming together to study God's Word and ultimately have a deeper relationship with God.

Throughout the book of Acts we read of people coming together in small groups for this purpose.  Matthew 18:20 tells us that Jesus will attend these meetings.  "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Our ministry vision:  To come together and establish deep spiritual and relationship roots, and care for each other while reaching out to others outside the family of God.

  • Each person strives to attain a personal relationship with God.
     

  • We study the Word of God, and strive to be a witness for God through the application of His Word and by demonstration of our lifestyles.
     

  • We are accountable to each other and continually pray for each other.
     

  • We come together twice a week in the spirit of worship, praise, and thankfulness for the blessings God has bestowed upon us.
     

  • We reach out to those outside the family of God through a food ministry, knowing that the ultimate goal is the salvation of souls.
     

  • We strive for growth through the application of God's Word, and accountability to each other.

We are located in Mobile, Alabama, and welcome anyone who wishes to join or visit.

We meet at 10:00 AM Sundays, and 7:00 PM Wednesdays.

Acts 2:42 - "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Hebrews 10:23-25 - "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised; and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works; not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

Matthew 6:33 - "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
